Speaking about cheap beer...

As I have already million times said: beer is almost cheaper than water here. But question is - can be beer even cheaper? One day there gonna be a day when beer is cheaper than any water, public transport ticket, piece of bread or piece of condom!! And it is coming soon...

If you guys are coming to my city (land) around August 20, make sure you know about this beer event!!!

Da Hell Is That?
Based on tradition of name days in the Czech Republic (every single day in a calendar belongs to one name - my name is Dana and celebrate my name day on December 11). On August 20 guys named Bernard celebrate they name day. Its name day also celebrate one beer brand called Bernard!

What is going on this day
Beside other little celebrations of guys named Bernard (to which you won´t be most probably invited), there will be one much much bigger celebration where all beer lovers (also broke ones) are welcome and invited!! History of family owned Bernard brewery dates back to year 1597 when beer brewing tradition has started in Humpolec city (where Bernard brewery is still located nowadays).
On August 20, from 15h (3pm), 9minutes, 7 seconds, all pubs/bars/restaurants serving Bernard beer will offer it for 10CZK only = 0.50 US cents = 0.40 Euro cents. And that sound like a good beginning of celebration!

Repeating is mother of all knowledge, so again: August 20, 15h 9min 7sec - til midnight or til the last drop:)

Where
That´s important!! So don´t skip this part in your excitement! You have to go to pubs/bars/restaurants where they serve tap Bernard beer. I believe this Bernard locator will come in handy to all of you! Just focus on any part, click, and bars will show up there.

Bernard is very good kind of beer, excellent quality..but still...think of next day hangover before you order your 10th glass:)
